Alright, let's clarify.
1. Xander, in this video, is about 4 months old. Baby ferrets are very, very fluffy and very pudgy until they hit about a year. They annually get chubby in the winter, and thin in the summer.
2. He is a free roam ferret. He gets more than enough exercise.
3. He's laying on his back because he sleeps that way. Really. All the time. I have just woken him up in the video, and they take a few minutes to get going.
4.The ball lands right to the side of his belly - and even if it DID hit him, a 1 oz cat ball is not going to hurt him. This critter has fallen off coffee tables, couches, and he flops around like an alligator when he gets going.
5. Nothing in this video is abuse in any form (unless you count my annoying voice. Yes, I know my voice is annoying, DEAL)
6. Pick up Ferrets for Dummies if you would like more information.
Xander passed away in 2010. He was well loved all of his life, and very, very spoiled. Comments, however, are being disallowed because I'm annoyed at my e-mail being full of comments ranging from 'ANIMAL ABUSE' to 'THATS NOT ABUSE YOU ARE STUPID'.
