Here's a shorter Stryker. I'm using a Scorpion 2215-18 outrunner...APC 8x6 Prop...Tower Hobby 25 amp ESC...2200ma 3 cell lipo....Flight weight 24 oz...balsa elevons...3/8" balsa with 3/32" covered flat rear deck. Home made fins- canopys. Covered with ultracote.
190 watts with apc 8x6 prop
15 amps static
over 13 minutes flight time ...longer if you fly 1/2-3/4 throttle.
Plane is in low rates in video. It gets crazy in high rates.

nice plane! like the sound and the color scheme. I have a couple strykers set up with v-2 megajets. I like flying them but have not been doing it long enough to experiment with different motors. This is such a cool plane, that I almost want to build 'one a month' just in case they stop making the design. Great speed and envelope for whatever you want to do with. I make my own canopies/noses/stabs/motor mounts and elevons(corex and 1/2" deeper than stock...makes a HUGE control auth difference!)
