Drawing/Colouring Fluttershy

HB PENCIL - FINELINER - COPIC MARKERS

I'm such a messy colourer ; _ ;
Anyway, first time Ive used my copics properly, Ive had all of these since Christmas (though i don't have that many, what i can colour is still really restricted) and not done any proper art in them, Ive messed around with them a few times but this is the first time me doing something half decent with them XD
Originally, I drew Pinkie Pie like this, but for some stupid MLP:FIM magazine which all my friends told me to send my art off and pwn little children, I wasnt arsed about winning, I didn't want the toys, I figured having my art in their is satisfying enough -BUT my Pinkie Pie kinda failed and didnt look right, I did it late at night too when I was supposed to be sleeping since I had College the next day
SO I MOVED ONTO FLUTTERSHY and decided to record it too :3
But Im rather too pleased with how she turned out that I don't want to send her off XD;; My mum was like just draw another and I'm like OH.. OK... Q A Q
But I cant be bothered right now D|
I thought the way the colours had soaked through the paper made the back look really cool, so I took a picture of that too XD haha
The pinkish spot in her hair.. YOU CAN'T EVEN SEE IT IN REAL LIFE! WHY DID IT SHOW UP ON MY CAMERA?!
This took just over half an hour to do btw
Sorry it cuts out half way through and you dont see the rest of her mane being coloured, my camera ran out of space and didnt bother telling me orz
Anyway, enjoy I guess~

This is awesome! I love it. And no, I do not think your coloring is messy ^-^

I have some questions though, I was thinking about buying some copic markers... Are they worth buying? Are they hard to color with?

imo, yes they most certainly are worth getting, I absolutly love colouring with them <3 and no theyre not hard to use at all ~ there's so many different things you can do with them and stuffz, theyre really good, but they ARE expensive, the ones I have now work out at about £2 per pen (no idea what that is in USD sorry) however theyre totally worth it! I bought mine online off Amazon

I know D: I had to improvise, I only have 1 yellow and and a few skin tones, but when the ink had dried, the colours didnt look anywhere near as dark as this and not THAT far off from Fluttershy's original colours so it was ok

My camera likes to make things seem a lot darker than what they actually are, the lighting in the room probably didnt help either :U

@TheTwistedCity mmhmm and theyre real too, I never bite them or anything :P My nails grow REALLY quickly, so ive had them longer than that before, but not by much. I never do anything with them either :o But since im learning violin now im gonna have to cut them D:
