KEITH LOCKE recorded 10 songs with The QUESTS in Singapore, between 1965 to 1966, before he moved back to England. Together they ruled the Singapore pop music scene.

Before "MR. DYNAMITE" and the band teamed up, The Quests had already released two hit records, "Shanty" and "Tea Break," both guitar instrumentals a la The Shadows, both original compositions.

Keith Locke helped to further solidify the legacy of The Early Quests - Reggie Verghese (lead guitar), Jap Chong (rhythm guitar), Henry Chua (bass) and Wee Guan (drums). "DON'T PLAY THAT SONG (YOU LIED)," a cover of a Ben E. King song, is regarded by many fans as The Quests' signature song.
