  • Nice piece by the BBC....well written, strong visuals, and a good character with Dr. Rose.

Can't disagree with the other posts - how does this guy not have a bigger presence on BBC, Discovery Channel, etc.?

  • Dr Jeff you are HOT

  • @DemonEyesSan oh, ok then. Replace Saudi Arabia with Yemen. Its the same with poorer people, no?

  • @goliathlup1 it was filmed in southern Yemen actually, they even say that in the original version.

  • @DemonEyesSan I think this specific part is filmed in SA no? thats why i said that.

  • @goliathlup1 they are real I didn't say they weren't,all I said is I bought this series with Alice Roberts in it when I was in Saudi Arabia.

saying that she has been censored out in the international edition because of an insignificant small market like Saudi Arabia is laughable Paranoia.

  • @DemonEyesSan Well done! Would that mean that all preconceived no drinking/no singing/no fucking

ideas or the full body cover forced even on female tourists that make SA such a paradise to visit and work in, are not real?

  • This has got to be one of the most uninformed films I have ever watched. First, the assumption is that climate and weather were the same then as they are today is wrong. From around 10,000BC to 7,000BC, most of Arabia was grassland and savannas, not desert. The lower temp would have provided much better environments for rain, and the now dry rivers in Arabia would have been full and lush vegetation would have lined them. For 3,000 years, Arabia would have been like the great plains in the US.

  • @goliathlup1 I don't think so cretin,I bought the Alice Roberts version of it from there there :)

  • @SarahJay55 could it have been done not to hurt the feelings of the sensitive little muzzies of Saudi Arabia?

  • wtf where is alice roberts?
