I am not the driver, but he hit something under braking. This is the same lap as everyone in front of him spinning at the carousel. The was something on the track previous to this happenning. Look at the drivers off the track as he goes through the carousel at the end of the video.

He went for a gap and the other guy wasnt watching his mirrors. Would have been a GREAT pass if he could have pulled it off.

Well, the video is with a wide angle lens so distance can be deceiving and I'm not the driver. It was not an pass attempt. ( I know it looks like it) The next corner had three people off because there was something n the track. The driver started braking at the 250 which is early and something happened under braking. He made the wrong choice on how to avoid the driver in front. Thats about it, not sure it matters whether its a national or not.

Actually, the only one that spun on this oil was the leader the next lap. No hazard flags from corner workers. This happened the same lap as everyone spinning in the carousel and he was behind them. If you watch the very end of the tape you can see everyone in the gravel trap when he drives by as they were ahead of him.

He's got about 58 I think. I've got about 55, but run regionals.
