From Driver 2 on the PlayStation, the Chase The Gunman mission. Errrk... my rather crap editting skills left in a failed attempt first, sorry. As harrietandjennifer points out, go to around 1:26 for the successful attempt.

I only managed to beat this mission by overtaking the guy right at the beginning and putting myself right infront of him so he kept hitting the back of my car with a very small difference in speed to keep control of the car.

This way I had stopped him right underneath the freeway junction.

That is a great tactic I tried to use repeatedly on this mission. Didn't quite pull the whole thing together when I did get in front. :(

i tried this mission a few times,but i get to hit him 75% damage but i fail because i cant drift like him at the hill side,so i fall

why does this mission had to be created?

so when and how am i gonna finish it?

Practice and patience. Try leaving the game alone for a few days & return to it with fresh vigour.

I bought this game in 2002, and completed this mission in 2008.

I hated this mission so much, it took me almost two months just to pass it. Still driver 2 was one of the best games I ever played.

The best way to beat this mission is to push the gunman off the cliff.

ill never forget this game, used to be so much of fun. I remember once in a while when I didn't have enough money to buy the PlayStation 1 console, and I was trading some rare animal stickers to play this for a night. Then after a while I've bought the console, and kept playing it every day at home.. then my friend got a pc lol D:then I got one too aswell eventually... ahhh childhood.

I got this game in 2001. and had to sell it in 2007. bought it back in 2008 or 2009 and then completed this mission and then the game in 2009.

Man, you WASTED a GOLDEN opportunity when you had the perfect chance of putting yourself in front of him.

Man, that only happens ONCE IN A LIFETIME: the second bend, RIGHT before the long cliff road, he took and unexpected turn following the road correctly due to the traffic ahead while you could take a shortcut among the trees, but he overtook you because you were distracted looking at another part (behind).

WHAT WERE YOU THINKING???!!!!!

Fun mission. It was easy for me but was hard for my dad. He played it before i was borne.
