You are no match for the Earth.

Dude, I hope that you're not serious! Don't even think about technology for earthquake prevention in the future because it ain't happening! The earth would have exploded millions of years ago without earthquakes. The earthquakes release pressure from the inside of the earth!
-
Actually I really wouldn't do that because I dreampt that I did and I ended up having a piece of my ear missing and a rock where my kidney used to be!
-
That is so cool! I would like to lay or bury myself in the fault!

How did you get where you're at? I'm going to CA in 2 months

@soulprovider915 (can't post a map link here) Best deal: from LA, a little over 3 hours. Go north up Route 1 along the coast (through Malibu; adds 20 minutes ea way over most direct route). Get on 101 N in Oxnard. In Venture turn N on 33. Go through Ojai and Los Padres Natl Forest. 33 merges with 166; stay on it. Turn left on Soda Lake Road on the not-open 76 station. You will think you have fallen off the edge of the Earth at this point, and if it moves while you're there, you might.

I'm going to use some silver duckt tape and tape over the fault line on the Carrizo Plain. that will stop an earthquake, I know it will. I'm so smart. I can't beleive no one thought of that before

No way dude. If you don't put superglue as well, it'll never work. But try it with superglue and then post here once you get results. Also maybe some string.

Ha ha ha ha, it's far too late SnowVixen! That's right! I have been doing quadricep-strengthening exercises so next time I go, I will be able to halt the relative motion of the plates! And unless I am paid ONE MILL-I-ON DOLLARS, I will let the Earth explode from the accumulated stress! HAHAHAHAHA!

Ha! In your face! ***pwned***
I'm glad you didn't try to tell me I couldn't stop the plate motion with my quadriceps, because then I would really get pissed off.
Seriously though, glad to see people are actually thinking about the videos they see on Youtube.
