Yes, Dalí did it first, eggs are universal.
This isn't the only GaGa/Dali parallel though. Lobster fascinators, telephones, "Day and Night Clothes" (I once got totally flamed for comparing it to GaGa's Living Dress), high-heeled shoes, pianos, meat - GaGa hasn't done anything yet featuring grasshoppers or ants, but then again, one of her partners in art is named Formichetti (which might mean "little ants" in Italian).
