We have all heard "the sky is the limit" as a catchy motivational quote, but not until now have we seen evidence of its promise. Why can't I be all I can be in this country? 200 years ago, the slave was black. 100 years ago, the man hanging on the tree was black. Today, MY PREZ IS BLACK!

i think people are getting the wrong idea about videos like this. it's not that we black people think we're better than anyone now -- it's that we are proud of that fact the we are on an even playing field.

it is just amazing that just 50 years ago, we couldn't drink from the same water fountains, but now the highest position in the USA (and arguably, the world) is held by a black man.

its a testament to where we've come as a country.

I'm not racist or anything (I'm 13 years old and have grown up in a well, multi-cultural community--I don't even NOTICE the color of someone's skin) but how does the RACE of someone determine how well they can run a country??

I mean, I just think it is so sad that SOOO many people voted for Obama JUST because he was black. Sure, some people may have voted for him because of his political vision, but a good chunk of the population voted for his color, not his ability.
