you know m. night if you show us how the kyoshi warriors come out of hiding and go back into hiding you take all the mystery out of the scene. also what was up with sokka's reaction? what has he never seen anyone stand behind someone else before? "Okay now we're about to head into battle. im a little worried since its only you three and me but i think we can manage. now i want you (moves a little to the left) HOLY SHIT! theres 20 guys behind you! How the hell did you do that" (facepalm)

@17deathbringer No offence to Suki fans, but Suki wasn't important until the second season. Also, mispronouncing names isn't even all that important.

Besides not every episode was important to the overall plot of the first season, which was Aang getting to the Northern Water Tribe to master Waterbending. The important things he did miss however can easily be covered in the second season, where their importance finally becomes noticeable

@shinagamizaraki the movie was an hour and 53 minuets long M Night chose not to extend the movie past 2 hours so that in itself was a huge mistake knowing how much story he needed also he mispronounced 2 names and left out one of the most important characters in the show suki

What I don't get is why everyone seems to think that this movie was terrible? Sure it wasn't the best movie out there. But it wasn't the worst either. It was a better then average movie that received poor results to due a massive fan base for a popular cartoon.

You can't expect a movie being based off of 20 episodes worth of animation and story, to actually be perfect. He had to cut things out, and while he made a few rather bad mistakes in his choices, it was still a good movie overall.
