The Poni-Tails " Oh My You "

This was the last 45 released by The Poni-Tails in 1960.Al of there other songs were released either on LP or CD's, except this one. The Poster is from there European tour 1n 1959 while "Born To Late" was rising on the charts. I am not sure if these pictures were taken while they were at the Hippodrome or later on during the tour.I though they were worth showing.These are from my collection.From Top clockwise LaVern Novak,Patti McCabe and Toni Cistone. This song was also record by a Male group "The Crystals (aks The Metros), whis is very good.The group has a very smooth sound.Enjoy

Thank you, mezkr4, for posting these fantastic Poni Tails recordings. I have searched for over 30 years to find more of their songs beyond their monster hit "Born Too Late" (which they performed 10 times on Bandstand!), and this is beautiful! And thanks for the directions to LaVern & Toni's recent interview on Mr. Allen's Jersey City Girls radio show. It was fantastic to finally learn about their group, about them working with Nat King Cole and Liberace, and hanging out with Elvis in Germany.

Finally I get to hear their last single, both sides! I asked someone to post this years ago on a mailing list, but they never did. Now I have finally heard all the recordings by one of my favourite girl groups.

Glad you enjoyed it. I never could figure out why it was not included in last cd put out by (famous Grooves-Babe).It has a catchy beat.They are also my favorite.
