His theory is flawed, a dealer hits on soft seventeens can be to a players disadvantage. Why? because you know he has 17 if he stands.. if he hits yes, there is a chance he could bust, but due to the fact that even if he pulls a ten he is still at seventeen, but if he pulls a small then he could catch 19 20 or 21.. the reason the casino hits a soft 17 is cause it is actually at their advantage OR they wouldn't allow it.. when a dealer stands on ALL 17s that's when 18-21 wins and your advantage
