Them are little smallmouth compared to the ones i catch here in buck creek in springfield ohio, ive caught some the size of my arm! you might wanna check it out sometimes

...i just heard it and it made me kinda laugh. its true, some anglers take themselves so stinkin seriously that something like that would make them discredit the video. kinda sad in a way, afterall, short of the bassmaster tour, we are all just out there to have fun!

I fish a narrow, fast-moving river where bass hold deep in the reeds that line the bank - Drop shotting has proven to be VERY effective in catching these bass when the weight is dropped close to the cover, that current does the work for you! BUT, I kept losing weights, or the weights weren't heavy enough to keep the line taut w/o drifting. I started loosely tying on 1+ oz dipsey sinkers instead of spending a ridiculous fortune on legit drop shot weights - WORKS LIKE A DREAM! Saved tons of money

@mackles Agreed because they are designed to slide through the rocks and cracks so they don't get hung up that easily. Great suggestion!

LOL, he is a saltwater angler. That's how they handle the fish when caught.
