This time of year millions of people around the world celebrate Easter. Mostly this celebration consists of collecting hidden Easter eggs and visiting the Easter bunny. Some religious people even go to services and are told that Jesus was raised from the dead on Easter Sunday. What most do not know and some ignore is that Easter is a pagan celebration that is filled with evil symbols, satanic customs, and wicked traditions. This day has nothing to do with Jesus in any way or fashion. In this video we will look at the history of this day, the customs, and the symbols and ask if Easter is even in the Bible?

  • The festival of unleavened bread is the passover feast celebrated by Jesus Christ at the last supper. His argument is biased on an incorrect reading and application of limited Biblical knowledge. Now, if you want to claim that Jesus did not raise from the dead or that Christianity is a farce, that is your choice. However, please (creator of this video) do it intelligently and with some sense of integrity.

  • @revmatthewgilpin Your unsound accusations only show your ignorance of doctrine.

Numbers 28:16-25 And in the fourteenth day of the first month is the passover of the LORD.

17 And in the fifteenth day of this month is the feast: seven days shall unleavened bread be eaten.

    Continued in following comments...

  • 18 In the first day shall be an holy convocation; ye shall do no manner of servile work therein:

    19 But ye shall offer a sacrifice made by fire for a burnt offering unto the LORD; two young bullocks, and one ram, and seven lambs of the first year: they shall be unto you without blemish: 20 And their meat offering shall be of flour mingled with oil: three tenth deals shall ye offer for a bullock, and two tenth deals for a ram;

  • @revmatthewgilpin 21A several tenth deal shalt thou offer for every lamb, throughout the seven lambs:

22 And one goat for a sin offering, to make an atonement for you.

23 Ye shall offer these beside the burnt offering in the morning, which is for a continual burnt offering.

24After this manner ye shall offer daily, throughout the seven days, the meat of the sacrifice made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD: it shall be offered beside the continual burnt offering, and his drink offering.

  • @revmatthewgilpin 25 And on the seventh day ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work.

How is it that the "festival of unleavened bread is the passover"? The video is accurate and sound and this message is the truth. If you don't see it it's because you do not have a love for the truth.

  • @KJTheTruth The confusion may come in because the First Day of Unleavened Bread that is the Holy Convocation, was called the Passover Feast Day in the time of Christ. That week was called the passover week (although the KJV translates it as the first day of unleavened bread Mt.26:17). Passover takes place the night before the first day (which was a holy day or sabbath day) of the week of unleavened bread, and thats why their names became synonymous. By the way great video!

  • people judge bible without reading it !!! just love each other this is all this book teach u just read it for yourself dont let anybody explain it to u

  • @KJTheTruth Hello friend. actually the book of Judges describe Easter in a bad way. Jud 2:13. Also, the Vine's Complete Expository Dictionary of Old and New Testament World ephasize "Easter did not originated from Christianity.Easter, aswell as Christmas is nothing but a pagan holiday that pervert God's message of Redemption...

  • Also you are right about easter being a correct translation in the KJV unleavened bread follows passover and they were waiting until their pagan festival was over which they were indeed celebrating. If pl read their Bibles they woulnt be deceived. Ppl let sum1 tell them what the Word says insteada asking the HOLY SPIRIT. 1jn2:27the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teach u of all things ans is truth...

  • Glad to see people still know the truth. Even my Christian relatives thought i was going nuts for not celebrating Ishtar (easter) and they would say"we are doing it for GOD it's a tradition we grew up with" and I said i will not practice th way of the heathen and say i;m doing for the LORD, The HOLY SPIRIT was clear in showing me truth and I can not consciously practice that pagan festival and say it's for GOD I'm here to serve HIM and HIM alone. Many Christian elders even disagreed with me

  • @KJTheTruth

I can quote scripture in any English version you like and in the original ancient Greek also. This fails to understand the truth that is laid out in scripture as a whole. The passover was the festival celebrated in Jesus time in remeberance of the exodus of the Israelites from Egypt... you remember, the time they baked bread without yeast (unleavened) and put blood on the door frame. Look at the Bible text as a whole or any reputable scholar my friend and you will see truth.

  • @guttaboi88

I just do not want to ignorantly follow tradition but to truly celebrate my Lord and Savior. I am truly sorry that my feel so bend on berating me rather than accepting my acquisition to the truth of pagan foundation.

My only true criticism was the lack of academic soundness. I want one to argue using sound, acceptable, intelligent statements... not bias, self-serving arguments.

Oh... I do not see Thanksgiving as a Christian holiday... why do you?

  • @guttaboi88

You have misunderstood... I did not vouch for pagan holidays. I stated that we should not disregard the celebration of a Christian holiday just because it has pagan roots. Again, the early church was guilty of syncretism which caused confusing lasting till today. However, it is not incorrect to celebrate the birth and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

  • @revmatthewgilpin Why are you vouching so hard for pagan holidays?X-mas is pagan, easter is pagan, thanksgiving is pagan, when you celebrate thanksgiving all you're celebrating is the slaughter of millions of Native American's,alot of holidays and beliefs in christianity are taking from the Ancient Roman culture,i guess some people would rather hearken unto lies instead of listening to the truth so they don't have to change their ways.
