  • The only way this will improve is it they blow the psychology of driving wide open. Fact is that people have a chip of their shoulder and fundamentally hate other drivers. They're taking their revenge out on others, when there is ANY opportunity to win a micro battle, no matter what the cost. If they think they can drive faster, they are eager to demonstrate how they defy danger and can drive faster even in bad conditions. Especially in bad conditions.

  • People don't seem to understand that 100kmh means in optimal conditions; when the weather is bad, slow down

Sometimes common sense isn't so common :(

  • wasnt this before x mas?

  • I have a new one for you... search AREA51ZC 02/19/09... Same spot a year later

  • I did notice that in the east end, Orleans, people do get a little less patient, but I'm not seeing the psychotic hounding that you see in Toronto. GTA sucks.

  • Except the ones that come in from Québec of course ;P

  • People have a contagious disease in Toronto, and anything near Toronto. 2 hours outside of Toronto it gets better except the 401 / 400 corridors stretch the lunatics a little further.

In Ottawa there almost are no crazy drivers. At all. Biggest contrast I have ever seen.

  • I should note, that I dont know the cause of this specific accident.

  • I hate to say it, but drivers in southern Ontario, especially the GTA, are horrible. I recently drove through New York and Pittsburgh. Far better drivers..

  • I think it's ok to go over 100 where it's safe, but it's those little interactive micro battles, the demonstrating stamina, THAT's where the problem lies.
