The Nicene Creed has not change its meaning. If you don't believe what the Nicene Creed states now then have you ever really believed in it? Being a Catholic is not all about "works" as people say. Works is not just giving your Church money for renovations. Works is HOLINESS "Works" is giving your TIME for God. "Works" is not just money "works" is anything that you do in the name of the Lord!

Being Catholic is not just being baptised as a baby and having your first communion and then your whole family throws a party. It's not about getting a confession for your sins or proclaim the "new" Nicene Creed. It's about believing what you say and saying what you mean. When I receive the body of Christ, that is JESUS. When the priest gives me the absolution , the priest is doing that with all the glory of the Lord!

I was an atheist too and I used to think that the Catholic Church was controlling, too many rules, and not enough relationship. When I opened my heart to God and I started to have a TRUE relationship with Him. I was born into a Catholic family, but I believe that if you are not practicing your faith then you aren't what you say you are. To me being Catholic is not a label, it's my faith. It is something that I proclaim before I go to sleep

@nikerocks Many things cost money, just because I take the bus to a retreat or I pay for gas to go to church, that doesn't mean it is a money scheme (: I help make the flyers for the youth group that I am in "Fuente de Jovenes en Cristo #Catholic SWAG" we are on facebook check us out! <3 Also, when I make the flyers we do have to pay money for them obviously, but clubs pay money for their flyers too and so do other businesses! <3

@VenusBeats Shut your hypocrite ass up. Religion is a man made money scan. Why do they spend so much on advertising, suits, church's,etc. If i were to make a commercial on you should join atheism i would get sued, banned and frown upon by society. hmmm?
