  • "This speech basically is an F you to Daniel Ellsburg. The American public has the right to know about the decisions which affect them directly. Why should people like Nixon who promise to be honest with us go against their word? After Watergate, the trust the American people had in government tremendously diminished. Nixon you accomplished great things as a politician. But your enduring legacy will be that you let us down. And generations of Americans yet to be born will know that very well."

  • @ElgringoPedro He was wrought with personal demons including paranoia, as you mentioned, but I do believe that history will judge him as one of the finest presidents we have ever had. We must especially consider the turbulent times in which he served our nation. I salute him. Nixon NOW more than ever!

  • @ElgringoPedro ha ha ha, it's like an "idiot or evil" question, eh?

  • Nixon should have found the Wikileaks author and punch him in throat

  • That's a weird facial expression at 1:03, kind of like he wants to smile but can't quite bring himself to.

  • This guy represented all the american security paranoia and cowardice, a shame, because he wasn't an idiot overall

  • @slproductions His predecessors left the country in the ditch, I dont think he was prepared to be the next Hoover

  • For sure he was dishonest but was he more of a crook than all the other presidents, or was he the only one that got caught?
