Last Sunday (November 2) Drew Stoeckel went to Cornerstone Church, a large conservative congregation that helped organize a Yes on 8 rally in Fresno, to see what they would talk about. Jim Franklin, the pastor at Cornerstone said that he and mayor Alan Autry had received death threats because they support proposition 8. Both were speakers at the Yes on 8 rally held at Fresno City Hall on Sunday, October 26. There were rumors that Pastor Franklin was going to encourage his congregation to disrupt the No on 8 rally at Fresno City Hall, planned for later in the day. Drew became the object of unwanted attention by Cornerstone security and the Fresno Police Department, apparently because he had a No on 8 button on his shirt.

  • You didn't have to give your information.

  • Ya know, just the idea of "security guards" employed to guard a church pretty much makes the point that someone "up there" isn't trusted to do his job.

  • @TVWriterGuy Thank you for succinctly pointing out a truth which the cult of

Christianity cant grapple with. They rationalize that the Bible's war songs and myths from a primitive desert culture allows them to act out all the low, immoral, and unethical behaviors they please. And if anyone dares hint HYPOCRISY, they scream "PERSECUTION!" Then they go into the song and dance and rending of garments, moaning how we are all sinners. But "you know who" will save us from the clutches of Satan.

  • and i know my spelling is not the greast and i know but really nawwwwwww

  • @bigbob6556 what are you nawing on food a stick trying spelling right you would take less time if you would have wrote no.

  • @BillSalem I am atheist yes, my point is, however we were put here, we were made to be with the opposite sex. And drag queens should be shot on sight.

  • @bigbob6556 "We were put on this planet..." Really? By whom or what. If you're an atheist, you surely don't believe some god or other "put" humanity on the planet. Oh my, the inconsistency of your thought processes.

As for hating fags, you know what drag queens say about homophobes: "Today's gay basher is tomorrow's competition." Psychology researchers have shown conclusively that what drag queens intuited, is now scientific fact. It seems the more you hate fags, the more you are one.

  • Oh my god this was in Fresno? I'm embarrassed!

  • @kurtywurty85 Naw, I just hate fags.

  • @bigbob6556 You're just the biggest idiot. I usually give religious people who don't agree with gay marriage the benefit of the doubt...but you're just an ass.
