56,000 brand new doesn't sound like a poor mans anything. 2005 and above boxsters are awesome, just because they don't cost an extra 6 grand for a hard top (cayman) doesn't mean you're poor if you own it. Practically the same cars

@bsmit389 I think the last "poor man's Porsche" was probably the old 924 which was more VW than Porsche really. Love the Boxster - it's the only one I could ever justify owning and definately more fun than the 911 Cabrio.

@ProjectM97 Good luck with yours. Mine ended up in the shop a WEEK after i bought it. Cracked heads! And I didn't even drive it hard. I'm gutted. It'll cost 8000$ to buy 2 heads. THis will be my last Porsche.
