There aktually 2 Endings, one where he dies, one where he lives!
He lives because he give the "ghoul" his wife back, than every of this "monsters" go away and let them life!
So in the next part or the next parts, maybe with some luck we see him again!

Fuck hollywood screws the ending so bad the whole movie it was so amazing while i was watching it and then at the end he dies! :( Not right ! He found the cure ! he was the savior for the whole humanity and then... It was supposed to be a happy ending. I don't really care for the other people and the girl with a kid :( </3

You must not have watched the whole movie because he meets a girl and her kid then later he dies and the girl and kid go to a place for survivors full of people and \ the girl brings the cure that he gives her...............so.......yea

I hate when some ppl say the ending is horrible..the ending,when he dies is what makes him a legend..the fact that he gave his life to protect the cure and save mankind..thats what this movie is all about..thats what makes him a legend
