Fire in the Sky -- the Walton' story; would have to be one of the most well known alien abductee cases. A well known film called "Fire in the Sky" based on his book of the same title was released in 1993 by Paramount pictures. The film was loosely based on his story and Travis gained a huge amount of followers and believers after the film was released. His story also came under extreme scrutiny from professional investigators and other experts. It was soon publicised that all was not as it seems with the Travis Walton Case. There is a large amount of further evidence to prove that the entire UFO abduction case is just a flat out lie/hoax. Further polygraph tests organized by various teams for Travis Walton, Mike Rogers (the driver with the inconclusive original Polygraph test) and Duane Walton proved to be both incorrectly carried out and extremely flawed.

I can tell you i use to believe this garbage story. A few nights ago they were phone guests on Coast To Coast Am Radio show. I made my final opinion that these guy's are full of sht. One of the main reason i came to this conclusion was the fact that Travis himself said there was "BUTTONS" and "DOORS" he watched Star Trek episodes. I highly doubt that advanced aliens would have buttons on boxes when an iPHONE/SMart phone in 2012 doesn't. Advanced aliens wouldn't be using crude buttons.

Still today humans haven't a clue about why only certain humans or other organisms are selected for physical analyzes by the ones they refer as aliens, slowly humans will begin to understand this as this century progresses. Those who cry alien invasion should think, if a more intelligent being really wanted to invade this small planet, they would simply just shut down the earths atmosphere and every organism would just die in seconds. There is more to the alien visitors than most humans think.

@Nagneto youre right about the definition. I just use it because MOST ppl are familiar with the obsolete definition of agnosticism. Im not convinced either that aliens have visited. but im not convinced otherwise as well. were both "atheists" towards aliens. only difference is, you make a positive claim against their visits, and I withhold judgement. all Im arguing is that withholding positive claims is the most plausible position to take. were in no position to suggest their interests.

@Nagneto well this particular case,travis wasnt abducted for medical reasons. looked more like they saved his life after an accident. second, they cant waltz into a library and pick up a book on human anatomy. plus they dont have to travel far if they have technological shortcuts such as wormholes or space bending. i understand your skepticism but belief that its all a hoax is a truth claim that u cant possibly know so still, everyones position should be agnostic :) no evidence for either claim

That doesn't rule out the possibility of life on other planets mind you, I just find it hard to believe that an advanced civilization capable of deep space travel would come all this way to terrorize hicks and crazies for "medical" reasons, when they could probably and every easily pick up a copy of Grey's Anatomy and learn everything they need to know about the human body. :P
