In the year 2011, there's not much left to say about the seminal classic Final Fantasy VII. But what about the demo that came out a year earlier?

  • You lucky bastard, you got to play Loupin' Louie! XD

  • 00:30 I don't know why, but I'm getting tired of him bashing Mega Man 10 everytime it gets mentioned. The only reason he bashed it, is because he expected WAY too much.

  • Do a "Gettin' Super Nerdy!" on the Half Life 2 Beta, while not a retro game, alot of people aren't too aware of the changes made (Which are alot!)

  • well its the demo... u can say whatever you want about it. its just for testing.

  • I just wanted to note that Barret refers to it as the North Makoro plant, not the North Maroko plant. Unless I don't understand Japanese pronunciation (and I don't pretend that I DO) I think you did something like a spoonerism and swapped the location of the K and R.

Anyway, that's the part I'm at in the video. This is the second video I've seen from you (the other being the "Gettin' Super Nerdy: Rygar" video) and I must say, you are being added to my VERY select "Check Daily" bookmark folder.

  • I have a demo that was released under the name "jump pack" and it has a different demo of FFVII, you had barret tifa and cloud and it was basically the final game version run through of the reactor. Also summons were Irfrit and Titan. Also you fought the guardian scorpion

  • @vnisanianisback Gotta understand that he's a Megaman fan, and he never really expected it to be taken this serious. And I agree, Megaman has always been just a simple shooter with great controls and awesome powers ups with a good amount of challenge.

Megaman 10 just parodies itself in terms of challenge. Capcom knows the fans know that Megaman is hard, so they stereotyped themselves. And all these silly add-ons are cool, but just not worth it. But like he said, Megaman 10 is a must have.

  • @TheBadShaman Just to clarify, I don't mind his occasional criticisms. I totally saw where he was coming from with his Zoda's Revenge review. But I like the game, and I happen to be the proud owner of both titles in the Startropics series.

But it was his MM10 review that made me go "Really? Those are you reasons for considering it a letdown? I never thought of them as such."

See where I'm getting at here.

  • @vnisanianisback Opposite of that. He expected too little. He didn't want all of this crap DLC, all these trials, all these extra characters. He felt like all of the damn add-ons were so damn unnecessary. In reality, it was unnecessary, its just a damn 8-Bit Megaman game, but the producers wanted to have an EPIC STORY about an APOCALYPTIC EPIDEMIC UPON ROBOTS! In reality Capcom took Megaman too seriously.

And even so, he still thinks its an awesome game worth downloading but not as much as 9.

  • Wasn't there another ff7 demo? I remember playing a demo that basicly put you through this valley. Can't remember the name but its before the amusement park place. This demo gave you a powerful summon and a lot of other things. Where did that demo go?

  • FF6 FTW dawg

  • is it Aerith or Aeris??
