They are really scraping the bottom of the barrel to have ray stever there bloviating about insurance companies only being concerned about a bottom line & shareholders. What the hell do you think happens with socialized medicine? Death panels, forever waits for care, you only need to look to Canada and see them coming here for real testing & care. Don't worry about it, obamacare is soon to be a squashed. He'll be put out of the whitehouse in 2012 as well.

Stever hits the nail on the head when he notes that the congressional budget office will not do a markup oh HR676, single payer. Why, because it would be devastating to the cause and to the credibility of the insurance industry.
Sadly Obama has, for now, been taken in by the insurance industry to the extent that he's no longer for single payer (check the video here on YouTube, he used to be a strong advocate for SP.)
Single payer actually covers everyone and cuts costs! It can work well!
