I have Known Matt since he's a teenager. Performing this song with Chris was a childhood dream, that Chris was really happy to share with Matt. And according to sources close to Chris, Matt was one of the best to do this song. Matt has a real power voice, and they looked great together. Unfortunately Matt's voice was extinguished by the time he reached the last show in Montreal. A rumous has it that Chris may invite Mobile for a tour in the USA. Could this be a dream come true??

Anyone know why Cornell always does Vedders part?

he doesn't always do Vedder's part, there are plenty of videos on youtube of him singing his original parts - check out the one from personal fest where he nails ALL of the high notes!

I didn't question that he couldn't hit the notes.

I didn't say you did question it! It was just an excited exclamation from me because it's such a damn near perfect performance!

i think he sings vedder's part here just to let the other guy have the spotlight. he usually sings both parts and has the guitarist or basist sing some of the vedder parts.
