sara ramirez does this better in my opinion. she really gets it. I do love Lauren Kennedy though, just not this song.

Why the comparisons, people? Just like any artist, singers perform songs differently. You may have a preference, but there's no need to say one person is better than the other. It's not a competition. Art never is. Just appreciate!

Not enough power in the beginning. Sara pulled her sound from the PIT of her stomach. Lauren seemed to be holding back.

i really dig the innocence she brings to this song. she doesn't overdo it, until the end which makes it very powerful.
i dunno, that's how i see the song.

i agree. sara ramirez's has more highlights and low lights (also she is less nasal than lauren kennedy). Ramirez's is also more interesting probably because of those intricacies and because she is a stronger performer (she intrigues and damands attention from the audience with her facial expressions and hands).
sounds a bit like a critque hahaha.....oh well

This song fits so beautifully in Lauren's voice. She and JRB have such a strong musical connection - it's really fantastic to watch and experience!
