This shows how to clean up your pinball playfields, how to polish them, and how to wax them. In the video I mention that you might need to repeat the Novus 2 cleaning, but those repeated cleanings come before waxing. Waxing is always your last step. The Novus line of cleaners is available from any online pinball parts retailer.

Make sure to never use the drill on high, due to heat build up the plastics will warp. Also make damn sure to never just spray stuff on your playfield with parts and rubber in place. You will get buildup since one can not help but have overspray and excess on parts by accident. Basically this video is a good starting point, but parts of it are just wrong or not well described.

@Schwob94 DONT EVER USE WINDEX! Lighter colors in the art tend to turn BLUE!

Thank you very much for the info. I'm going to use it to help me clean my new Back to the Future pinball!

My Taxi has yellowing where there is no mylar. I can't tell if it's old, crusted up wax, or tobacco stains... Any recommendations?

So if Novus 1 is like Windex for light pinball machine cleaning, can I just use Windex instead?

I just bought a machine that had the clearcoat stripped off of it. Do I have to re-apply the clearcoat after cleaning? Couldn't I just as well use wax?
