Carvin takes it's quality assurance seriously. If an instrument has a flaw, we don't try to pass it off as a "blem". We scrap it and build a new guitar or bass.

Does Carvin makes active pick ups like EMG?

@Zhorellski We now have new pickups on our DC700 7-string and DC800 8-string guitars that require an active preamp. These were designed to answer the EMG and Duncan Blackout style of pickup. I've been told a 6-string pickup is in the works
