Andy Blue has been busking on Queen Street - here is an early rough cut of a 2 minute filming of Andy Blue playing original Spanish Guitar on Queen Street. This segment is two minutes long. The 12 minute full version of this song is now available with virtual busking coinage payment interface on aucklandmusic.com (with royalties earned by artist).

Filmed and used with kind permission of the artist.

  • wow this video is cool! and so is the guitarist! I am going to put a link up to this! :-)

  • plz more street music like this! recorded in the late hours to creat the perfect mood. lived there for a half year and listened on queen street to some terrific artists while drinking a cup of coffee.

unfortunately I cant find any videos of them, and they were stunning!

  • magic!

  • Andy Blues is a musical genius - his fingers dance over the guitar strings like an intimate dance of tango. When he plays its as if the outside world does not exist - so great is the syncronicity and rythm between man and guitar - he is in the flow.

Andy you live and breath the guitar and it is truly awe inspiring to witness your love of music.

  • please check out the cover andy blu and i did of townes van zandts song "if i needed you" maia7178

  • thank you so much for putting this clip of andy up. He lives and breathes his music and is a true Newzealand troubadour

  • my all time favorite musician :-)

  • I was delighted when I heard the sound of a Andy's guitar from Queens Street. It was exciting!

He was magnetic - and his music was refreshing.I spent time talking with him and Mr Alexander - who was filming the whole session, Andy himself and a few keen followers. We talked, exchanged contact details and I came away with a beautiful 23 second video recording -taken on my new Nokia phone- and ahich I now can listen to everytime someone calls me.

  • I've lived in Auckland for more than 35 years now. I love all kinds of music - especially Jazz and Blues.I was delighted when, after parking my car near Atrium on Eliot last weekend, i heard the sound of a 'great' guitar from Queens Street. It was exciting! He was magnetic - and his music was very, very refreshing.I spent time talking with him and Mr Alexander - who was filming the whole session, Andy himself and a few keen followers. We talked, exchanged contact details and I left .Frank Heath
