2009 FXDB "Street Bob"

This is my new Street Bob. So far I've put on forward controls with Kuryakyn 3 inch extensions and a Screamin Eagle stage I air cleaner with some Vance & Hines Staggered Short Shots. I Pulled the reflectors and powdercoated the air cleaner cover and horn cover as well. New bars and grips to go on soon.

The sound on my camera doesn't do the pipes justice, they have a much deeper tone in person.

how loud are your pipes? Do you have baffles? I know this video does it no justice

I took out the V&H Baffles and replaced them with BigCity Thunder Baffles since this video - way louder now with a nice little increase in torque. As she sits now it's about as loud as a harley 96ci can be without motor work.

was it much work moving the foot pegs forward or can it be done easily?

nice bike, the street bob is probably my favourite dyna. however i like the 08 more than the new one. the new rear fender doesnt do it for me, looks kinda weird and what happend to the transmission? they ran out of black? the satin/plain finish should make it cheaper. every bike with black is more expensive. do many people like the new streetbob as much as the older ones?

To be honest, I wanted for the 09 because I didn't like the 08 at all. I really prefer the internally wired bars, chopped fender, and black laced wheels. The black casing is would be fine but I like the contrast of the blonde casing.

cool bike, so your talking about torque difference after swapping baffles in the v&h, do the stock v&h pipes, the short shots lose torqe when replacing the stock pipes, i just bought a 2011, im just waiting for a warm day to pick it up
