AiFM - 2.Priorities

"As i Find Myself" is a new series that I have started because I have a heart to reach people with the love of Jesus, a creative mind, and a knack for seeing things like a movie.

I have purposefully shot it very raw and unprofessional to add to the creativity of it. I hope you enjoy and take its' messages to heart.

#2 - Priorities
I think most of us, on a regular basis, live our lives WAY TOO FAST.
We have things we need to do, simple as that.
So why do we all seem on edge? Stressed out?
I look around and I see people in the same boat as me, runnin around like a chickens with their heads cut off.
It's like hamster who gets on his wheel and runs as hard and fast as he can, but he's not getting anywhere.
Now, don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with deadlines, schedules, planning, but...
I think the problem is, most of us don't take the time to prioritize.
My wife and I have big plans.
We wanna knock out our debt, get things done to the house, put the girls in drama, & gymnastics.
She wants to write books, I wanna write music and make movies.
We both want our relationship with God to be stronger than it's ever been before.
We SAY we want these things and we both work very hard between church, family, & our jobs but...
In the midst of the chaos called life we forget about the most important things.
The Bible, in the book of Luke, Jesus says:
"Which of you, planning to build a building, doesn't 1st sit down and count the cost, whether or not you have enough to build it. If you build the foundation and can't finish, everyone around will make fun of you saying, 'This man began building and couldn't even finish.'." He finishes the paragraph saying, "Likewise, whoever doesn't forsake all he has cannot be my disciple."
As I find myself sitting on my couch first thing in the morning, drinking a nice cup of coffee and planning my day...somewhere in the back of my mind I've already made a decision of what's most important and what is not.
After all, I can plan all day long, but my ACTIONS are what tell the real story.
What do my actions say?

When it's all said and done, I have to dig deep in my heart and make a decision.

I like the first one that is by Sigur Ros..

So what do u meant by it's #3 off the "Untitled" album...

Is Sigur Ros the band name?

and 'Untitled' as their album name?

So their albums are named as Untitled I,II,III and so on?

Yeah, Sigur Ros is the name of the band.

All their albums have titles except for this one.

This one is called ( )

... don't know why.

The songs themselves are also untitled but while they made the album, they used "working titles" to know which ones they were talking about...this song is #3 off of ( ).

The first one is by Sigur Ros...it's #3 off the "Untitled" album. The band used the name "Samskeyti" as a reference for it. one of my favs, VERY worth checking out.

The 2nd song is by The Crystal Method. It's called "Keep Hope Alive".

Great video! Thank you for sharing your faith/spreading the good news. I relate but am so glad that God puts us in these positions were we need Him and have realize His love, trust Him and let Him carry our burdens. That's proof that He is our Father and that He wants to take care of us. If our lives were easy, we might not turn to God,depend on Him or even pay any attention to His will and that would be much much worse. Thank you and God bless!
