Taiwan World Games 2009 - Opening Ceremony

I went to the Taiwan World Games Opening Ceremony on July 16th in Kaohsiung and sang along with this group of singers that performed for a part of the Opening Ceremony.

I loved listening to them sing and loved singing with my friends. I hope you enjoy watching and listening like my friends and I did. ^^ It was a great experience to be there.

A woman sitting with someone noticed she was on camera and started waving and got that other person's attention. I just happened to get it on camera, as well as other members of the audience. I liked seeing them and that they were having a good time; I sure was.

Also, to people commenting, first: Thank you for commenting :) and second, thanks also for the correction about Hakka and Aboriginal people in Taiwan; I said Hakka were the aboriginal people of Taiwan but those two groups are different groups of people. The people singing her are of the aboriginal people of Taiwan.

I like learning about both though ^^

My host family lives in a Hakka village and I just got back from a homestay with them. I have pictures and videos and I might do a slide show later. I actually have to do a presentation and a slide show might be my project that I present at the end of my 2 months in Taiwan.

Fun Fact: My friends and I started doing the wave during one of the shows in the Opening Ceremony and after we did it a few times it caught on and everyone down the rows did it and we even got on camera! It was way cool when everyone joined in. It's a good feeling ^o^
