  • this was really very interesting. Both to hear about the history of Northern Ireland and of his personal family history. David seems so sweet and kind. Really wish I could meet him someday.

  • Thanks so much for posting this! It's great to hear David's scottish accent~

  • Just noticed something random. Do the Scottish tend to say, "Right?," a lot while Irish say, "You know?,"? As I said, random thoughts...

  • this seems like a good show for america to adopt. there is no such thing as an actual "native american" (even the indians came from asia, just a long, long time before the europeans), and the vast majority of people who came to america came to escape something, so everyone would have some kind of conflict or historically significant event in their ancestory.

anyway, loved this! i know what he feels like, with the conflicting feelings. i have ancestors on both the union and confederate armies

  • Who else upon immidiately after watching this video decided to look up their family history and background? Long live Tennant!

  • That was pretty cool. Thanks for posting.

  • This whole thing was absolutely wonderful, David inspires me. I don't even know him but truly he's one of my favorite people on the planet!

  • 9:15 ARE YOU MY MUMMY?

  • Those images remind me of the Mexico City Masacre 1968 where hundreds of students were killed.

  • @mirandasblog We here in Derry were inspired to take action against our own injustice by the civil rights movement in America, especially through the speaches of Dr Martin Luther King. Its sad that this place has become such a racist shithole since.

  • This story is (was) so sad, you never know about someone else's life until you hear their story. That's why I use to ask my grandmother a million to one questions. Love the history.

  • He looks like Desmond from LOST with the beard!!!! "I love yah Penny!"
