  • I also love the music. What's the song, and who's performing?

  • @Seattlecarnut

If you look under the description it tells the artist and a link to download it from Amazon. It's Young Riders by Dave Odeggard. I never heard it before posting this video. It was available through the Youtube library. I wanted to use " Eagles Fly" by Sammy Hagar but couldn't figure out how to do it.

  • Nice video. I am looking at a 1983 Eagle stationwagon. The seller wants 1,200 for it.The interior is in good shape and the engine has a rebuilt carb though the seller mentioned that the choke sticks from time to time. The car does have some rust, It has a good sized rust hole on the front drivers fender, some surface rust on the front passenger door, some on the back passenger door and some surface rust on the underside. I am thinking of selling my 1997 camero to get it,what is your opinion of it.

Glad to see you're interested in an Eagle. It's hard to give advice without seeing it. Your best bet would be to register over at amceaglenest and ask over there. If you have pictures and more info that would help. I love my Eagle but it has taken some work and money to get it to that point. The Eagle you are looking at will not handle like nor have the power of your Camaro but they are cool cars.

  • @ecoli2345 The reason I am thinking of getting rid of the camero is because in the winter my college is 1.5 hours away and driving back home every other weekend was a bit of a pain. I also just love the look of the car. I do not know why maybe it is because I love things from the 80's,I even collect old game systems from back then like my Atari and Back to the future is one of my favorite movies along with Ghost busters. It is also just more practical then my camero. It is 4x4 and can haul stuff

  • @ATARI800XLfan I agree with you. It's much more practical and I catch myself staring at mine once and while and thinking what a cool ride. Mine is the first car in the slide show. The white wagon.

  • @ecoli2345 I've never heard of Dave Odeggard. I do like the music. It goes well with the video.

  • I like the Kammy at 2:54...what grill is that?

  • my aunt had one of these in the 90's when i was growing up she had mutipul cars in the 90's before the eagle wagon, she had a 85 LTD, THEN THE WAGON, a 93 ford M Sable, and a 94 white ford taurus but it got crashed.... now ive got my other aunts 93 ford taurus gl wish i had a eagle too they were great cars

  • @cdawg4391 Not sure, you did have to stop the car to switch it from two wheel to four wheel drive. I suspect it was based on the Jeep transfer case technology of the time but with independent suspension in front. A true crossover decades ahead of it's time and from what I've seen, a very good off road performer as well. Not like these Clorox bottle-looking "SUV's" of today.

  • I nearly shit my drawers at 0:15! What a nice car!

  • How did their 4wd work....was it full time? Was it part time?

  • @MrWskas I agree. It's too bad AMC is no longer around. They made good cars, better than most of us make them out to be.

  • @ecoli2345 Awesome! I'll have to look him up. I've always enjoyed instrumental music.

  • glad to see people appreciating these beasts...the family ride back in the day was an 82 wagon, leather seats and all...I found an 86 for $400, immaculate- except for the motor..had a new 4.2 put in for short money..loved it, though most people hated it, the ride- highway or snow- was always secure and comfy..had it from '93-'96 and would have kept it if the Northeast snow and salt hadn't eaten the underbody away...have a dodge 1500 hemi 4x4 now but I fondly miss that eagle..kudos to you folks
