How to ID the common magic mushroom ,Psilocybe cubensis or "gold top" in Australia. Times of the season change with location, best times to ID this this mushroom in northern NSW and southern Queensland is nov,dec,jan,feb,march.

@gangstapop4 If you live in sydney go Western Suburbs, heaps of paddocs there. If you live up north go Byron bay then take a drive to Gold Coast, there are fields everywhere! :)

@GTAMorph really a mushroom trip depends on weight. Not by how many caps or stems you eat. and by the way the caps are only slightly more potent than stems. Not by much at all! basically the heavier the mushroom the more potent. Gobble heads and stems. and with cubes eat about 2.5-3g the first time. Or an 8th (3.5)
