Extravagant/whimsical designs, expensive to build, high-visibility profile, no interior layouts, no clue on how an entry door would be mounted on to a pyramidal building. And before you go off on how I'm not qualified to make such assessments, I'm an Architect.
-
Not one picture of the interior, no floor plans, no proposed building material. Just a few pictures of the same thing just from nearer or farther away. Not even made on CAD software.
-
Unfortunately the only people who can afford to have these houses built are the ones who have created all the chaos in the world...ironic.
-
@korvelo You just said that I don't know much about "anything it seems" and "I'm" making a fool of myself? LOL!
None of these are valid homes for being "bunker safe" stop being silly.
-
Now where did I put that extra $3,000,000.00 to build 1 of these ?
-
I like it. If only I had the money.
-
@DontFriendInviteMe I agree with u!

This screams i have a ton of food, clothing, gas etc... A town mob would be at your door in a matter of days with more ammo than any house could defend against. This is just begging to be destroyed by the desperate masses. Pretty cool looking though.
-
@korvelo Lol ... I see that you have outstanding sales and people skills. haha

Really cool? How does the sphere stay upright when floating? Is the bottom section composed of thicker concrete than the top? Have done any small scale water experiments?
Anything curved made out of concrete is more expensive because it requires custom forms. A compound curve or a concave form would be extremely expensive. Shot-crete/ Shock-crete could be used but I don't know how that stuff really compares to poured concrete. It would be really cool to see these designs being built.
I can't help but picture that round ball being swept off of its foundation by a big tsunami and bobbing around in water until it hits a big rock, cracks in half, and sinks to the bottom of the new imaginary ocean. LOL! News flash ... IF we ever had a global catastrophe, nobody is going to predict what, if any, region might be saved. Chain reaction would be the Universe declaring a "do over" with earth.

@DontFriendInviteMe You and the majority out there don't know much about a safe building and i would even say much about anything it seems!....if you have an intelligent comment, or valid criticism i would like to hear from you, otherwise don't make a fool of yourselves!!

@TheSOGRed Impractical??? show me something practical then?.....The pyramid inside is as practical as any house and much more fun, while being safer.....but one can have the same principles applied to most house designs and we will eventually design some conventional homes and even offer free plans.

Nice. But you'll have to have a full time army to keep looters out.

@stutteringduck Full time army?......how many looters are you talking about?
So this must be after all of you have been looted probably. Unless they are well armed with military grade stuff they are in for a surprise, regardless of the number.
