Rise Again (Rankin Family cover)

So I was feeling kinda folky, so I pulled out some old sheet music and proceeded to relearn "Rise Again" by the Rankin Family. Having not sung it since I was 13, here it is... 4 years later, after one run-through. xD

This is the first time I've heard this song. I searched for the original and was surprised to see how the visuals hint at the silvery peel and color of the notes you sang. I don't know this group; but I am glad I heard these beautiful lyrics with your authenticity, pace and mournful shading. Thank you & well done.

My choir sang this song this year and brought people 2 tears and also recieved platinum in the local festival compition a couple weeks ago We are now on our way to provincials this coming weekend.. Beautiful randition :)
