FFXI Shattering Stars Thief Maat Fight level 68

I'm (as of this writing) a level 68 Thief/Ninja. I started the fight with every intent on beating him down but I remembered I still had my stealing gear in a macro so I tried it, expecting it to fail like the last 6 times I tried it and then I would just continue with the hi-potion induced beat down but well, as you can see, I didn't need a single high potion.

I'm level 68 and my evasion is only about 195. I've got a pretty standard gear setup, with all of my steal + gear in a macro. I am using the Rogue Ring for its latent +3 to steal and only takes effect when you are at less than 75% health which is why I don't steal right off the bat.

I'm on Seraph. Anyways, yay! 75, here I come!

I got level 75 on my Thief a while ago now. Since then, I've been leveling subjobs and I've been working on Red Mage to 75. It's 60 at the moment but I've taken a break because FFXI was taking over my life, needed to get away for a bit.

No that is incorrect SE has anounced long ago that no stats effect steal. Only Steal + gear effects steal. The INT was a rumor.
