I know what you mean! This was a intense scene for both characters. But I don't think it was romance between the two. It was friendship. Beth looked that way towards Jody because she didn't think she should be the one to be blamed. And it hurt Beth having her deal with the miss understanding. But wow I know what a great scene I love this movie. So glad Christina Ricci got to do a movie with Anna Chlumsky. A priceless movie!!

There is a lot of great tension going on in this movie. Yeah if you see this when you are young you can say this is friendship but looking back now, it looks more like puppy love. There is a lot of trust and heart going on between these characters that seem more intense then just a pair of buddies who just met.

when things like that happen, you should remove the wet clothing and THEN put the dry stuff on. and splinting can reduce pain until you get real help.

Wow for some crazy reason i think Jody has like great hair in this movie and also i liked the way she dived in the water how about you guys like i can't explain how i feel about this movie
