I made this documentary film project about eating disorders for a college art class. The reason I chose this topic is because I wanted to combine elements from both of my majors: Studio Art and Psychology. This documentary briefly explores the lives of two young women who have struggled with eating disorders for years. I could not have completed this project without them. Filmed entirely in Tampa, Florida. Music belongs to Ludovico Einaudi. Edited using Windows Movie Maker.

  • First girl sounds like she is STILL 8 years old. >_>

  • @brightbite The sound quality isn't the best. I had to rely on the built-in mic of a low-budget, school-provided camera.

  • what is the actual name of the song you used? it's beautiful

  • @heylady0515 Which song?

  • wait is emily and nikki's story true?

  • @Lovemonkeysxox

Of course... why would I post this if it were fake?

  • I'm happy someone has made a documentary on the matters that is not myth and is useful, give me hope. Thank you and well done. I've seen a lot of misleading crappy videos and this isn't one.

  • I like the fact that you've chosen to interview sufferers who are a little bit older. My anorexia began when I was 11, and lasted intermittently throughout my teens, but it only developed fully when I went to university at 17. I often feel inadequate and childish for suffering from a disorder that's perceived as a 'childhood' disease, and that's why it was somewhat comforting for me to see two girls my age who are going through the same thing.
