  • thats the stupidest thing to do to one of those bikes. in mint condistion there worth thousands of dolars

  • hahahaha=D definately not! it was found in a dumpster w/ no original parts!

  • Sweet bike and thanks for posting it. I had one growing up in the seventies and it was the same blue. The Apple Krate was actually the red one, the blue was the Blue Moon.

  • it was originally red. (i just like blue better:)

  • Sorry dude, but thats not an apple crate. The apple crate was a red 5-speed with two rear shock absorbers, small front tire & springer forks and with hand brakes and matching seat. They didn't come with a sissy bar either. I had the yellow called the Lemon peeler. It was difficult to ride because of the smaller front wheel you peddled your butt off no matter what gear you were in.. Sorry dude close but no cigar

  • my first bike was a stingray...i bought it used at a bike shop in 1972 for 125 dollars ...very expensive bike at the time..it was orange crush...5 speed...i was 7 yrs old...man what a bike!

  • @chrisradano HaHaHa agree i own one too and i use it with pride

  • I loved the racing slick tire on the back. I can remember hauling ass and slamming on the brakes leaving a long ass skid mark on the sidewalk. Good Times

  • yeah baby…the sissy bar with the speedometer…you would have been the shit in our block with that bike…mac daddy….thanks for the post…peace

  • That bike's sick, what size are the forks?

  • I beat the crap out of a bike like that in the 70s. Mine was yellow, with a banana seat. There are no bikes like this that are mint. They're all beat. Unless...one was owned by a sissy.

  • I love everything about that bike. Nicely done!!!!!!

  • I don't remember bikes from the 70s having those tiny front wheels.

  • Badass bike!!! I have a 70 Pea Picker coaster, Im currently customizing to my liking as well. It was a barn find in real bad shape. ALL the chrome has to be replaced. Instead of spending big bucks which I dont have to restore to new, Im making it the way I want. To those who dont like it, bite me! Again, badass bike man!!!
