i have an 04 V, that is far from being "garbage". Idk how you can call the 04-05 garbage when everything is nearly the same minus the 6.0 and different rear end, which happened to be replaced on the majority of 04-05 by warranty.

@zx9mic yea they did fix it they took same rear and replace one part in it witch means till 09 all ctsv rear diff sucks i know that couse i am looking to buy one for 6 month now.

Check out the CTS-V Rearend Girdle by TC. All years are Great 04 and 05's had weaker rearend but both need help.

were solid. same exact parts bozo. i think i would know as i live and breathed the caddy forums.

@ironbull2003 what we all know is the 04-05's were junk with the same 6cyl rear ends. the issue was solved in 06 which is why i bought mine,...along with a bigger motor better trans and other accouchements.

the car is on an incline..so the weight keeps the car planted. ids = wheel hop.
these cars arent known for straight line perf. but they do accel in the twisties, which is where the fun factor gets an A+
