Also Kansas has 4000 fans in the student section. And again, I can't find even a rumor on the web about Duke replacing Cameron Indoor. A new multi million dollar arena replacing one of the oldest gyms in college bball would probably have a little media coverage.

Kansas fans were actually voted the best ..

And they are? I haven't heard any rumors CI was getting replaced. Just searched too. Also even if they did, they wouldn't design it for noise level. Arenas cost millions of dollars, so they would design it to host other events as well, and would be a much more open arena, which wouldn't contain sound well

And that's why they say Duke fans are #1 craziest and wildest. Just you only got 2 thousand at the student section right at the court and the building is shaped like a high school gym...in 10 years Duke is getting a new court they will probably be designed specifically for noise level.

not ragging on duke fans by the way. you guys are some of the best (duke, uk, and ku are the top 3 fan bases by far, unc and ucla fans are tame). what im saying is that duke fans in allen fieldhouse > duke fans in cameron.

allen fieldhouse is just the perfect building for retaining high volume levels.

And something tells me if you haven't missed a game in Cameron in 11 years, than you probably have missed a couple in Allen Fieldhouse in that time.

Duke lost 3 games at home last season. Not a great year for them but still.

Kansas lost 3 games at home since the 05-06 season.

Duke lost 13 games at home since 05-06.

Kansas lost 3 games at home since 1994.

Bill Self has more Big 12 Titles, in a row, than he has losses in Allen Fieldhouse in his career.

I have not missed a Duke home game in 11 years. There are moments when it blows allen fieldhouse out the waters even with the smaller population. You don't know Cameron like me

The loudest? Not even close. Try Allen Fieldhouse. Most ppl/unit space. Some college did a study of arena acoustics, and published it in ESPN The Magazine. Cameron is good, but the best? Not a chance.
