I dont think you can judge it on atheism. Atheism doesnt really say anything about a paticular person.

I agree. I don't think it's 'atheism' either. It's a rather vacuous reason. But most of the guys were in their 30's-40's, so for some reason things weren't exactly going perfectly.

Maybe it is the sort of 'activism' thing. I tend to find ardent activists, whatever the subject, aren't good in 'the field' either.

As for me, I'm just not the most attractive/popular of people. And that is, I assure you, a *gross* understatement.

Well, in person I tend to be very boring, confusing, and pretty much an obnoxious, narcissistic ass. Most people I meet really don't like me, and this is something that's been told to me from my 'enemies' to my 'friends'.

Atheism is not an issue for me either. That's the point. For me, it's just because I'm not very attractive. I'm not anti-social or racist, just not particularly attractive.

I was raised in a rich family that was very socially conscience, and they told me to be myself when I was like everyone else. What I've found from being in numerous social situations is that youth is encompassed with what others think of them; therefore, dating someone with an opinion , even when they personally like you, is risky to his or her objective.

I think women would have it even harder, if that makes any sense, because where I live girls are not expected to be as radical or outspoken as guys. I'm not trying to be sexist, but it seems to be slightly more acceptable for a guy to have atheist views. What’s really hysterical is that I live in America, the land of the oppressed and the vastly ignorant. Of what I've heard Europe, especially the northern countries, are far better towards Atheists in general.

Another way I look at it is like this. If a female can't respect you for your Atheism; then, she doesn't need to be with you anyways. For Atheist it always seems one way because we the ones who have to "hide" in the shadows and "water down" our opinions. I have different experiences by being an Atheist because I tell females upfront who I am, what I do, and what I like. So, they play by my rules. When it comes to females you have to be demanding toward them and make them respect you.

What you see is single atheists on youtube, yeah well they have a bit more time on their hands.

Sweden is 80% atheist, and its not 80% single.
