looks like empire total war.

No way was the attack repelled through close combat. The Zulus were never able to advance within 30 yards of the square. The reserve impis were tried to encircle the square from the rear but they weren't able to close within the square so they retreated and where chased down and killed by calvery. Ulundi was clear for the taking and was set ablaze. The few remnants of Zulu resistance was eleminated shortly thereafter. Other villages were also tourched in hopes of capturing King Cetcheswayo.

The British learned from the massacre at Isandlewana that you can't fight large lightning fast Zulu impis with the classic thin red line. They would quickly be surrounded and overwhelmed.

And no, I didn't modify the british troops. They're british rifles, footguards, artillery crew for 9-pounders and crew for the rocket artillery.
