Took this video while riding my bicycle around Lake of the Isles in Minneapolis, June 2010. Note: Free parking, easy traffic, separate biking and walk/jog trails, green scenery, birds singing. The stone landmark early in the video is Peavey Fountain, the first public art in Minneapolis. It is functional art, too. The ring around the monument is a horse watering trough. Meant to go all the way around the lake, but the battery ran out on the camera. I missed some nice features, like bridges and connections to other lakes. Teenagers were hanging out on the bridge to Kenilworth Lagoon, daring to jump, just like the old days.
