  • Now that's a very beautiful looking locomotive.

  • Princess? Sounds more like a Queen with the way that beautiful engine pulls away :)

Oh how I do miss the days of steam.....

  • My very first trainset had a model of this loco. Nice to still see the real thing in action. Alan

  • who tresspassing ????? think you will found that jim is stood next to 4979 which if you look at my video of 70013 on the dalesman is a safe distance from the tracks and on the training centre land not network rail. great vid.

  • Were you a member of staff on duty that day? Being happy with a situation and being able to do something about it are two different things.

  • Trespassers do cause delays, then more than likely complain that trains are late.

  • So it's okay to cause delays because they want a photo - which they can get just as well without trespassing. Just let us know where you live and work and I'll come and trespass, climb fences....

  • I believe it's acceptable if they aren't doing anything bloody stupid(Penny on rails, rocks, pulling stupid stunts), just getting photo's or watchin these beauties I'd say is ok. Now if these blokes were causin a ruckus, and acting like bloody idiots, I would agree with you.

  • So it's okay to trespass as long as you're not too close? Trespassers are a danger to themselves and others, they cause delay which result in passenger complaints - why then is this acceptable to you? Unless they are trained to be on or near the line they have no place being there.

  • Some bloody blokes do need to be locked up, but they're ones who get too close, the distance they were at is bloody damn well fine.
