Used very effectively as the backing to a Coca Cola advert, this song was sung by a group called 'The New Seekers' at the beginning of the 1970s and was very popular for a long time. If I were to have a 'theme' song, this would be it as it combines my love for singing and my wish that mankind could be more tolerant in its dealings with other men.

  • nice job! can I pay this without the capo

  • @scallly64 Certainly you can. I use the capo to raise the pitch into a more comfortable key in which to sing the song. I like playing this song using the G C D chord sequence . It is just a way of transposing from one key to another. Of course, if you wanted to play along with my recording, you would have to use C F G (D7 instead of A7).

  • Thank you for doing that. It was very nice of you.

  • @hfurjiskkr5 You are welcome
