  • TIcking noise goes away when my engine warms up. Strange. Not gonna seafoam my car anymore, seems alright now.

  • Lifter tick or it could be your crank pulley falling apart. I'd check those two things out. I replaced my crank pulley with a solid aluminum one from 3sx.

  • @696969Brian696969 Wouldn't lifter tick sound constant even at idle? I only hear this noise when I accelerate in the 2000-3000rpm range. And I don't hear any ticking noise when I rev the rpms in Idle either.

    But the crank pulley, if you can explain a little more.

  • It ticks at around :05 seconds.

    Its most likely the crank pulley you should get it checked out soon you don't want that thing falling apart at high speeds. Lifter tick does happen at idle but can get worse at mid rpms (at least it did in my case).
