  • Interesting that this documentary is in Punjabi. It is a very happy thing to note. Bhagat Baba Farid was known as the first Punjabi poet. His bani and poetry is also very well respected in the Sikh Holy Scripture or text the Guru Granth Sahib.

  • wow i didnt know Baba Ji was celebrated outside of Sikhi, Saints really have no boundries. GO BABA FARID!!!!

  • @Mirpuria it means treasure of sugar.

  • What does GANJ SHAKAR mean?

  • @babloo1666 He was a sufi saint from 300+ years before Guru Nanak. It would seem self evident that Sufis would know about him.

  • @mirz100 wrong.

  • @babloo1666 yes my friend, as a punjabi muslim, he is celebrated the most by punjabi muslims. it is very nice that he is also celebrated by non-muslims as well. rab rakha

  • @bhangrafan of course it would be in punjabi, my friend, as most of punjab is in pakistan, and most punjabis are pakistani muslims. some people that dont know about local pakistani culture think that punjabi is not spoken, but we have many punjabi t.v. stations and punjabi is the most widely spoken language on the streets of pakistan, as well as in music
